PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN HIRING FROM HONEY.HIRE™  YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Honey Hire reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions at any time and without notice to you. 

  

TRY ONS

Try on appointments are located at 172 Gilles Street Adelaide SA 5000 and are 40 minutes, late arrivals mean less time trying on. Please book two back to back appointments if you'd like to try on for longer than 40 minutes 

We understand that circumstances can happen outside of your control, however, please respect our time as we do yours and let us know ASAP if you cannot make your appointment

Try-on appointments are $10. This can be redeemed on a hire or put down as a credit for a future hire

You may bring 1 person along with you to the appointment. Babies and children are welcome to attend your appointment. Please be respectful of the property, environment and garments you intend to try on

Try-on appointments are for 1 person. If you have a friend that would also like to try garments on they will need to book a separate appointment

Ensure you arrive to your appointment with NO FAKE TAN, MAKE UP or any other substances that may stain or damage a garment 

If you stain or damage a garment during your appointment you will be required to pay the repair / cleaning fees

PAYMENTS

We accept card 2% surcharge or cash 

 

COLLECTIONS & RETURNS

Weekend booking confirmation emails will be sent out on the Tuesday evening of your hire 

Weekday hires are to be collected a day prior to your event and are due back by 4pm the following day 

Weekend hires are to be collected on the Thursday night of your rental and are due back by 4pm Sunday unless arranged otherwise prior to collection. If you’re hiring for a Friday and wish to return it on the Saturday you’re welcome to

GARMENTS ARE NOT TO BE RETURNED AFTER 4pm UNLESS ARRANGED PRIOR TO COLLECTION - If you decide to drop off your rental after 4pm you are responsible to pay the RRP of the garment if it gets lost or stolen 

A late fee of $20 to each consecutive day will be charged if the item is not returned on time

The garment is to be returned in the bag and with the coat hanger it was originally collected with - if the bag or coat hanger isn’t returned with the garment $5 per item will be charged.

 For last minute bookings on the day of your hire please message to ensure we’re around for collection prior to booking your hire as we are not in store 24/7

 

DAMAGES

If a customer damages a garment they are required to contact HONEY HIRE BOUTIQUE via email with pictures and a brief description

The customer must still return the garment on time. The garment will then be thoroughly assessed and mending fees, additional dry cleaning fees or the full RRP (not including the price you’ve paid to hire a garment) may be charged

We reserve the right to charge the consumer the recommended retail price (RRP) (not including the price you’ve paid to hire a garment) in order to replace the garment if it is beyond repair

If the garment can be repaired for an amount less than the RRP, we reserve the right to charge the client this value

If the garment is booked for a hire and cannot be fulfilled due to the item being damaged and the garment is unable to be replaced or repaired the customer is liable to pay for all pre booked hire fees

DO NOT ALTER GARMENTS IN ANY WAY, THIS INCLUDES SAFETY PINS, STITCHING OR APPLYING DOUBLE SIDED TAPE (Hollywood tape, fashion tape)

 

DEPOSITS

In store bookings

In order to secure a garment a $50, $100 or $150 deposit is required. The deposit price depends on how much the garment is to hire. This deposit is non refundable and will not be put down as a credit if you have a change of mind / your event gets cancelled.

Online bookings are to be paid in full. Please head to our website to book your hire 

REFUNDS

Refunds are not permitted under any circumstances. This includes postal hires, event cancellations and change of mind

Customers who need to cancel their hire and have paid in full will receive a credit note with no expiry provided that 14 days notice prior to the event date is given

Deposits are non-refundable and will not be put down as a credit if you cancel your hire.

If the customer is uncertain of sizing, the best option would be to try on the garment prior to hiring

 

CLEANING 

HONEY.HIRE fees are inclusive of basic cleaning fees

Heavily stained garments will incur an additional cleaning fee starting from $20 depending on the garment 

Customers are strictly advised not to attempt to repair or clean any damaged garment, this will be taken care of by HONEY HIRE BOUTIQUES preferred team of repairers and dry cleaners

The customer is responsible for paying for any costs associated with repairs

 

STAINS

We advise clients to be extremely mindful when using fake tanning products, makeup, drinks, stamps etc

We recommend applying fake tan at least two days prior to your event and ensuring any residue is washed off thoroughly to avoid transferring on to garment

We recommended spraying perfume directly onto your body prior to wearing our garment as it may stain or damage the garment

In the event that a stain prevents a garment from being rehired and a basic dry clean does not remove the stain, the client will be responsible for paying the full RRP of the garment

If the garment is booked for a hire and cannot be fulfilled due to the item being damaged and the garment is unable to be replaced or repaired the customer is liable to pay for all pre booked hire fees

 

POSTAL ORDERS AUSTRALIA

*Postal orders require a photo identification*

Express Shipping $35 (includes a prepaid return label - Our satchels are reusable)

Please cut carefully along the dotted line in order to re use our satchel to post your hire back to us

The garment will be posted to you 3 days prior to your hire via Australia Post Express. A tracking number will also be provided 

A pre-paid Australia Post Express label will be included in your reusable package to enable you to return our garment. Please use the original packaging and stick the return label on top of the original label

The garment must be lodged at your local post office on the next business day following your hire before 12pm. DO NOT POST IN A POST BOX. You must provide proof of lodgement via email or text

Failure to provide proof of a lodgement receipt will result in a late fee of $20 to each consecutive day the garment is not sent

If there are any issues with your postal hire please contact us within 24 hours of delivery

Contacting us after your event date with any damage will incur all damage / cleaning fees to be paid for by you

*Last Minute Orders: If a customer places an order less than 3 full business days prior to the start date of the rental order, this is considered a “Last Minute order". Honey Hire Boutique does not take responsibility for any post delays caused by Australia Post. Last minute orders are not eligible for a refund (in the case of late delivery past the order start date, or failure to deliver by Australia Post). You will receive a credit note valid for 6 months. The store credit is exclusive of postage.*

These terms are set in accordance with consumer laws and ACCC guidelines regarding consumer rights and product quality.

*We do not provide refunds under any circumstances*

*We are not responsible for AUS postage delays & there will be no refunds if your parcel does not arrive on time*

 

POSTAL ORDERS NZ

Your parcel will be express posted to you 7 days prior to your hire 

PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS FOR YOUR PARCEL TO ARRIVE 

You will be required to cover the cost of express postage back to us. Our garment must be posted back at s post office the following business day 

 

LOSSES & THEFT

If the customer loses or steals a garment, they will be charged the full RRP of the item to ensure it’s replaced (RRP does not include the hire fee) 

The customer accepts full responsibility for safe keeping of our garment and does not share it or hire it out to anyone else. If the customer is found sharing or hiring out our garment they will be charged a $30 fee for breach of contract 

 

DISCOUNTS

BIRTHDAY DISCOUNT 

We offer a $5 discount for your birthday 

(Proof of ID required) 

Let us know know that it’s your birthday for the birthday discount to be deducted from your hire fee 

 

TAG US DISCOUNT 

Any photo you tag us in (wearing our garment) you’ll receive a $5 discount off your next hire

(This will only be valid if you have tagged us within the first 24 hours of posting your photo) 

LOYALTY DISCOUNT 

Hire from us and you will receive $20 off your 5th hire
